Grands Crus d'Alsace

The Eguisheim Grands Crus : Eichberg & Pfersigberg.

Made from grapes harvested on Grands Crus status land, these wines comply with strict production rules.

The wines produced from these vineyards are marked by their origin. It is from underground that these fine wines obtain their character.

 Pinot Gris d'Alsace

Pinot Gris

Grand cru Pfersigberg

* Type of soil : Limestone (Muschelkalk)
  * Variety planted : Tokay Pinot Gris
  * Surface area : 1,600 m2
  * Production : approx. 1,100 bottles/year

This wine has very complex aromas with touches of candied fruit, a somewhat unctuous and smoked flavour, with almost a touch of woodland and a slight floral touch in its first years. A full-bodied, fat, round, suave wine with a long finish.

This wine has good ageing potential and gains concentration and bouquet.

It can be served throughout a whole meal.

It goes remarkably well with foie gras, terrines and pasta, as well as mushrooms, white meat, pheasant and veal.

Gewurztraminer d'Alsace

Gewurztraminer

Grand cru Eichberg

* Type of soil : Marl-limestone
* Variety planted : Gewurztraminer
* Surface area : 2,579 m2
* Production : approx. 1,700 bottles/year

An enchanting wine, the best known of Alsace wines. It offers a true outburst of aromas, along with density and incomparable complexity.  It has floral touches, especially rose, fruity aromas (quince, grapefruit, lychee) and spicy aromas (cinnamon).

This fragrant wine has good ageing potential.

Can be served as an aperitif or to accompany foie gras, cheese (blue cheese, Munster) and desserts which are not too sweet.
